About This Team

Who are we?

Team 116 is the Herndon High School robotics team. We are a member of the FIRST robotics league, an international, non-profit organization created and run by volunteers in order to promote the study of science and technology to students. Specifically, we participate in the FRC (competition with more advanced robotics) and FVC (competition using VEX robotics kits) leagues in FIRST. We also mentor an elementary school FLC (competition using the Lego Mindstorms® robotics kits) team, as well as do various outreach projects each year.
