Many thanks to the parents who have attended our regular Thursday night meetings. We hope to see many more of you so we can fully support the team this year. We'd love to have all jobs covered by January when Robotics moves into full swing! If you can volunteer for any of the vacant jobs (or if you have already volunteered for a job and your name has been omitted), please contact me at Haberland@qwestonline.com. Better yet, come to the Robotics Parents Meeting in the Drama Room every Thursday that our students meet! We'd love to get every parent involved and look forward to meeting you all!

Last Meetings Notes:

During the last Robotics Team Parents meeting, 20 Novermber, an important agenda was set for the December 4 parent meeting (7:00 PM). We are looking for help/ideas with the following:

1. Recruiting a good lead teacher sponsor for next year, willing to take over for Mr. Tripp, who has given so much to the team for the past 5 years.
2. Recruiting a volunteer (not necessarily a team member parent ) who could serve as Internal Liason with School Administration this year for Robotics team issues.

We would like to see the great Robotics Team program at Herndon High continue next year for those that will be returning. The consensus is that the above issues need to be addressed quickly so that necessary planning can take place this year to keep the program strong for the years to come.

We are looking for your input on potential candidates for the above key roles, and hope to see you there at the Robotics Team Parents meeting this Thursday evening at 7:00 PM in Mr. Tripp's room.
