Subject: power for non-functional decorations

If we were to have a non-functional decoration that required 12V DC 
could we power it from the battery on the robot or must we use the 
battery included with the device?

We can't find our Flexible Shaft Couplings donated by DEKA.  I can't find
any reference to DEKA donations to FIRST on their web site.  Any suggestion
where I can buy two new ones?

A) It must be powered (if it needs power) from the battery on the 
robot.

A) The Flexible Shaft Couplings are a custom made device that Deka 
donates to the FIRST Robotics Competition kit of parts.  They do not 
sell these devices.  Spare parts of these will be available in limited 
quantities at the regional and championship events.
